200 year old rings?

At the site where I found all of the War of 1812 era buttons last week, I found a pair of rings. I know that they are rings but my question is are they 200 years old? They seem to me to be 50-70 years old? I am no expert on jewelry from the early 1800's so I am wondering if anyone has any insight they can share with me about these. There are some cottages fairly close to this sight but the only thing I have dug modern at this site are 22 casings and some bullets.

They are different sizes too. The biggest of them just fits my ring finger and is very worn...which kinda tells me that it was worn for a long time. There are no markings on the inside.

Let me know your thoughts.

Hmm. Kinda hard to tell. They sort of look newish. But being found with the rest of the stuff you were finding there it's awfully hard to rule them out as being that old.

Tough call Jared. The glass stones and mounts looks just like the 1700's rings I find over here but the bands don't look right. Looks like 90 degree angles on the sides and I just don't see that over here. Of course I'm no jewelry expert that's for sure!

I think those might be Indian trade rings. I'm not an expert at all so take that with a grain of salt but I would be researching in that direction.

I agree with Donnie,
