This Weeks Finds: 1855 French 10 Centimes & 1913 Dog Tax Tag

I made it out a number of times in the past week and found some pretty good stuff. I really like the 1913 Milwaukee dog tax tag.

Really nice assortment you got there! I find it very interesting that the dog tag is in the shape of a horseshoe though. I wonder why they went with that design instead of something a little more canine related?

Wow, so many cool finds! I agree that the dog tag is special. Over 100 years old and it looks great. Terrific find!

The 1866 Indian Head is a scarce find as well. That date has eluded me. Very nice example!

About 3 years ago I found an 1855 Ten Centimes coin that looks very similar to yours. They must have been made from high quality bronze or something, as they hold up well in the soil. Here's the one I found.

A little bit of everything! I'm partial to the dog tag and crotal bell!
