Not a bucket lister but a first for me

Never found one of these before. Looked up the model and they were made between 2016 and 2019 and sold new for about $340. I pulled the SD card to see if it would show where it took off from but can't get it to read. Fairly recent crash I think. I was at this same site a couple of months ago and I'm pretty sure I would have seen it then. 3 of the blades turn, 1 is seized up.

Nice find! If it's legal, it should have a sticker on it with owners name and an FAA registration number.

Nice find! I found one while detecting a river site once! I think they were trying to fly up and down the river and must of made contact with a tree limb or something and crashed into the river. It was a Maverick Pro and like yours the SD card was shot.

Obi-Wan speaks the truth. To be honest, I was not sad to see that "droid" belly up in the dirt rather than buzzing around over my head disturbing my peace and quiet. Has anyone here ever been "hassled" by a drone while out detecting?

I wouldn't say "harrassed" by one. "Annoyed" by one? Yes! And it's only because this guy had some high end, souped up, high speed screamer, of a drone! It was pretty cool to watch! It was super fast, but it was super LOUD too. When he would go over me or by me I would have to stop detecting because I couldn't hear my headphones.

When I first saw it out of the corner of my eye, that's what I thought it was.
