    My Buckles all gathered

    Hi fellow diggers,
    Here are my buckles after 2 years of detecting in Germany. All 1200's to 1700's (mostly 1600's and 1700's though).

    Oldest Silver Coin: 1156 hammered Pfennig from (now) Bavaria
    Oldest U.S. coin: 1805 Draped Bust Large Cent
    Best Coins EVER: 1625 4 Sols from Kingdom of Chateau Renaud, France
    1662 15 Kreuzers, Leopold I, Austria
    Best Relics: Bronze Age Arrowheads & Spearhead, 2c Roman silver ring, complete medieval knight's spur (x6)

    Wow, Dave, what a spectacular photo! Those buckles are incredible. You have done an amazing job of cleaning and preserving them. So much history saved!

    Lots of different variations in shape, style, design in a 500 year window huh.
