Got a permission later from a gentleman who said he use to metal detect. Did not expect to find anything in his yard but I managed a 2 quarter spill and an 1886 Indian!

next we got permission for a yard, this guy claimed never been hunted. He’s been there 40 years and boy did he give us a lot of history of the town! Was not much there but I got a signal for possibly a silver dollar. I expected a aluminum can but instead of dug a 2 Mercury, 2 Wheat, 1 Indian spill! Fun! Don beat me on Wheat though.

Oh Noah, looks like you gave Don and Tony a run for their money! Usually when you find something amazing in the first 15 minutes it puts a jinx on the rest of the day. Probably a goof thing you changed yards! LOL. Does the 1916 merc have a D mint mark?
