    Weekend Digs

    Here are some finds from the weekend and pictures of where I was at today and found the 1901 Barber Quarter.

    Oldest silver: 1853 Half-dime & 1876S Seated Quarter / Oldest coin: 1849 US Large Cent / 1854 Upper Canada One Penny Bank Token

    Sure there is not an "S" mintmark on that quarter. Nice recoveries WD

    Thanks Tony, I think it is some sort of lapel clip, not sure if it’s military or not.

    Nice digs! I swear I saw the lady with the one eye wink at me.
    Oldest find: 5,000 year old copper spearhead
    Oldest coin: 1699 William III halfpenny
    Purdiest coin: 1832 Capped Bust quarter
    Coolest find: USA button with blue threads still on shank
