    Vacation finds

Got some detecting done at our lake getaway. My first Walking Liberty half found in the beach sand around the dock 42s, with a 37 wheat nearby. Both with an odd dull tarnish. On shore finds were 56d wheat and a 53s Rosy. Also a neat little set of 2" x 1/2" wings that say Jimmie Allen, Hi Octane, Flying Cadet.

Great finds! Congrats on your first Walking Liberty Half Dollar! There's nothing like big silver in the hole.

The Jimmie Allen wings are wonderful too. It was a radio show from 1933-1937.

Congrats on the big silver and relics. I know it was said above but there is nothing like that 1st glance at big silver in the hole. You need to take more get-aways. WD
