Silver Dime, 5 wheats, and 3 Chinese coins!!

    Fellow MD'ers,

Had 2 hours this afternoon to hunt with my friend Don at another friends house down in the Village of Owego. House is 1860-70's??. Need some rain here but was able to dig a few good targets. Best coin was my last pull a '59 Rosie, SILVER . Also, found 5 wheats - '36, '39, 2 '42's and a '48. Miscellaneous clad, nickles and pennies totaled $1.43.

The chinese coins are from another house up the street that I found in the yard after patching some wood floors in the home owner's house. Chinese coins are I believe, if the internet info I found is correct, are from Emperor Kao Tsung 1736-1795 reign probably minted after his death 1795 to 1799. Very neat finds for being from the other side of the planet.

Enjoy pics, good luck this week..

Great looking hunts! Congrats on the silver and neat Chinese coins! Man those things must be spread all over the country from what I have seen posted by other detectorists from around the U.S.! Makes you wonder how they ended up in that yard.

Great coins, congrats on the silver! I love those Chinese coins. How did you ID them? I found one that looked similar last year but I have no idea what it is

A more likely raised question would be, How did they get there (them Chinese coins, I mean)?
    Laundryman? Cook? Houseman?
That's where the fun enters... figuring out why they were even there in the first place.
I found a couple Chinese coins that were on the property of a big 1800's farm. It really makes one think, huh?
No matter what (or where)... congrats on some really cool digs, XZ! thumbsup01
