    Back to the Woods Today - 1943 WLH

    I went back to the woods in the park yesterday where I did so well last weekend. I spent about 2-1/2 hours out there yesterday afternoon and the weather continues to be amazing, it was sunny and 50 degrees!

    Wow, that WLH is a beauty! It must have been freshly minted when it was dropped. The thrill of seeing big silver in the dirt never goes away. Awesome!

    Nice finds! That walker is a beauty. Looks like you got one of the error rings. They accidently stamped the "sterling" upside down. Happy digging!

    Thanks everyone! This half must have been dropped in 1943! Definitely the best half I have ever found.
