    Mourning Button

    I initially thought I had a GW chicken hawk! But reality set in pretty quickly. It's just a funerary urn. This site has given up nothing later than KGIIs, so I am pretty sure it was abandoned well before Washington's death. But still, I am happy with the find.

    Wow,Jeff, that really looks like the outline of a chicken hawk! Still a great find! I'm still looking for any type of mourning find. Congrats!
