First time out in '21 finds a goodie

First time out was more about seeing if ground was thawed more so then finds. First park was all clad but I hit an old park nearer home and found a nice Indian 1872 but it has an unusual date in that the 187 is very sharp and the 2 is almost missing. The coin is in great shape unfortunately my photo skills stick. Wisconsin Digger

    Maybe the 2 is a 7?
That looks really nice! I've never found an IH in that condition.
It's been a pleasant winter for us. Lots of snow but then it melts quickly and allows some hunting. Here's to a productive season

It's got a lovely patina but I cannot even see the date! My eyes must be getting bad. Anyway, congrats on your first hunt of the year. I'm sure you'll be posting silver and gold in no time! Happy digging, Dave.
