    Medieval Horseshoe

    Hello friends,
Yesterday I found an older horseshoe. It spent the night in my electrolysis tank and this morning I cleaned it up, baked it and coated it in paraffin. Looking through my horseshoe book and talking to my German detecting friends it looks like this is circa 1400's. Horses must have been a lot smaller back then. There is some wear on the front but this shoe is only 4 inches long!
