    Hunting with Digger Al , He was on Fire

    Alec and I went out Tuesday and spent the day door knocking. I'm still try to get my momentum going, but Alec is at Full throttle!!

    That was a hunt for the ages! Were both of the halves in the same yard? I bet Alec was about to pass out from excitement! Two old halves plus a Carson City Seated Dime!

    And hey, your 1892 Barber Dime is nothing to sneeze at either, old man. I like the bread token too.

    There sure aren't very many commemorative coins found metal detecting. That Columbian Exposition half is wonderful.

    I watched the video yesterday. Definitely a great day of hunting. You could of let him find the Barber Dime too so he could complete his Quad. I'd say you both did pretty well. That is only the 2nd Colombian I have heard of being found detecting. Congrats on the great recoveries. WD

    That is just AMAZING Don and Alec! Congrats Alec on making such great finds! The Columbian Exposition half dollar has ALWAYS been my secret dream coin to find. They are very rare and probably not many were lost in yards. I am so happy for you! The cc dime is just frosting on the cake. I can't wait to get back and start hunting with you guys again!
