    Detecting shorts

Short morning hunt yielded one silver and it’s my oldest Canadian.

Came out of the ground nearly black. And it rang up like a wheat penny.
Took some cleaning and it’s still very stained. But it’s an 1876.

Funny it came out brownish until I rubbed it and then was black. Only clue was the silver rim.

I thought it was going to be an actual pair of shorts with a sleeve for a lesch or something built in. I will take "hot Vicky" over that though. Congrats on the silver Canadian sir!
