Hunt today requires some ID help

88 Degrees today YOW!! Found a few coins today including a clipped Merc, a Rosie and a Buffalo but I posted in hopes of getting some ID help. First ID help is a coin I am hoping has some age. I have NO clue. The 2nd item is a button I am hoping is military - maybe Navy. I don't think the button has that much age but it would be nice if it is Military. Only posted photos of the ID help items. Wisconsin Digger

Lodge Cent is right. It is a 1 Sen Japanese Taisho. 1916-1924. Made of bronze.

Does the button have an anchor (little fuzzy). Is that the "smile" at the bottom of button?

WOW, you guys are amazing. Yes, it kind of looks like an anchor that is why I was thinking Navy, but it could just be civilian. Thx a ton for the Coin ID that was the main one. I wish all copper coins were made of that material as the coin is in great shape. Thx again guys. Wisconsin Digger

I think it might be a 1917? Here's a site to convert western years to Japanese years. Its a little confusing for me, but maybe you'll be able to figure it out.
