I Got Out For a Few Hours Yesterday

As some of you may have noticed, I haven't been posting much lately. It's been a very busy and Hot summer.
Since the middle of July I think I only got out detecting 3 times.

Sorry about the orientation of some of the photos. My computer has a mind of it's own!!

I managed to get a few hours in yesterday and got rewarded with these!!

Great hunt Don. Nice looking Barber Half. I could use an upgrade of my 1901 "S" Barber Dime if that one has an "S" MM. Congrats hope you get out some more. WD

Great finds, Don! A Barber Half doesn't turn up often! I bet it put a smile on your face when you saw that one come out of the dirt.

I've been in the same boat with the busy schedule, but it certainly looks like you made up for it! Been a long time since I've seen a silver come up from the ground, and you did get a really nice variety. Congrats!
I wasn't so lucky. Got out for the first time since early spring for maybe 3-4 hours between rain showers Sunday at a park site that was supposed to have been the location of 3 generations of school buildings dating back to the middle 1800's. Found only 1 1937 wheat cent, a bit of clad, and a small bucket load of trash for all that swinging. So keep up the good work!

Nice finds Don! It has been a rough summer to door knock. I do not feel right asking people to dig holes in their yard when i wouldn't do it to my lawn. At least you guys got more rain than us in WI.

I think your photos looks just fine. Let me know if you crack the code on the orientation of pictures. I could use an education!!
