That's the one I went with as I always use my smaller nox coil now. I ordered earlier today....I'm hoping I can use my old pinpointers.
I hope it lives up to its name Deus2=God2

I run a CTX and am wondering for those of you who might have bought the Deus 2 if it would be a compatible machine. In all honesty, I am not a gear or tech head so reading up on frequencies etc of equipment makes my head spin. I love my CTX, but the Deus has nice features too that seem appealing in the field. Never ran a Deus or even used one, but it seems you folks that have one like it.
Garrett AT Pro, Garrett Waterproof Pinpointer, CTX3030 with 6,11,17" coils.

I don't have the Deus II yet but I have already started building my custom programs. I converted the program page in the Deus II manual to Excel to make it easy. If anyone wants the file just PM me your email and I will send it to you.

That is brilliant! I wonder what kind of depth you can get with a silver sniffing dog.

I'd be worried about the unsightly holes that the dog would leave in the public parks I hunt.

Are you saying my standard 18" crater would not be acceptable in a park setting Drew?

Is it odd you need a PC to update the Deus 2? What about the 1000s of mac users?

Has anyone heard if the size of the coil ordered has a bearing on delivery date?

Thanks, George!! I couldn't find the deus2 coil on that site. It looks like the Deus1 coil is DD so I imagine this one is.

That sounds like a great way to break in your new Deus II. Might be hard to top your previous Deutschland expedition, but I am sure you will make some great finds. We will expect daily posts.
