Last Sunday, Dave ( Full Metal Digger ) drove up from southern Illinois to hunt our button field with us. Unfortunately it didn't get harvested yet due to the rain.
So plan "B" was to hunt a couple of 1850s houses that we had permissions for. Dave killed it at both houses but that's his story to tell!!
At the first house all I was able to get on to was 1911 V Nickle, but at the second house I saved the day by digging an 1851 Largie.
Today Noah and I went back to the second house and I scored another 1851 Largie. This was a first for me, 2 Large cents from the same house!
After a few hours we decided to head into town and try another house.
There I dug two mercs and an 1891 Indian. all day I dug only one wheat cent.
I have no idea what this pin is.
