Bucket Lister! I Finally Found A...

    ... Silver Thimble!

A sterling silver thimble has eluded me for 40+ years of metal detecting. I finally found one this past Saturday while hunting with Digger Don and Noah. It was in the yard of a house the owner told us was built in 1851.

It is in really nice shape too. I am happy!

As Don mentioned in his thread, it is getting really tough out there. We got lots of yeses in yards that looked awesome, but most of them were completely void of any good signals. It seems that almost every yard has been detected previously. Thank goodness I got the thimble, and then a Rosie late in the day to save me from the dreaded Silverless Drive Home of Shame. It was still a fun day!
