    Got A Copper Today!

Went back to the site where I found the Pres. Adams cufflinks. I gridded the entire site & was rewarded with what looks like a CT as well as this beautiful ball button. Luckily did not see any bears today or any porcupines.

Any ideas on the ball button for age? Was this a military button?

Nice! I've never seen a ball button that still had plating on it.

Thanks guys! No idea on the age of the spoon. I've been told the button could be an 1830's Military Button.

Is there a backmark on the button?

congrats on the Connecticut , Roger . surprising i've seen a lot recovered lately , the ball buttons are most common on dresses and cadet uniforms and i see more silver plated ones than gold .
