    Wisconsin rarity

    More lousy weather here but got out a bit before it rolled in and was lucky to find my second 2 center. Not positive but I think it's the same date as the 1st one (1868) but this one is a bit crustier. Wisconsin Digger

    Very cool find! I can't tell if it's 1866 or 1868. They don't turn up too often here in Illinois either, unless you're Full Metal Digger.

    Nice! Yeah I have only found 1 ever.
    Oldest find: 5,000 year old copper spearhead
    Oldest coin: 1699 William III halfpenny
    Purdiest coin: 1832 Capped Bust quarter
    Coolest find: USA button with blue threads still on shank

    Thx, Don, Bucknut it was a dead solid 24 on the Nox. It was butted up against some landscape at a military memorial area so I think it got pushed around when they put it in. WD
