    1870s house

Hi all - hit an 1870 property that I door knocked earlier in the week. The guy was a little gruff, but he said I don't care if you detect, but you are not going to find anything but horseshoes. FYI - I always answer very positive with "I love finding those".

    1. Only found 1 wheat penny
    2. Found 50+ aluminum wrapper from 1930s is my guess. All the same size. Exact nickel signal.
    3. Very few signals except for around the house (about 1 acre of property)
    4. 0 horseshoes

2- walker quarters (I finally got one!!!!!!) Not finding a walker quarter all these years has driven me bananas.
    1- black merc is a 1919D

Fun weekend, but I messed up my back. I told my wife it was yardwork.

    Thanks for looking - Darryl

Great finds, that is an impressive haul. Congrats. I hadn't been out for 2 weeks but snuck out Sunday and was surprised with (only 1) no date SLQ, so you doubled my fun. Thx for posting. WD

Congrats on your first Standing Liberty Quarters! They are one of my favorite coins to find and they don't turn up often. I've never found two in one day before. That's awesome! Be sure to check the reverse to tell if they are a Type 1.

I hope your back is feeling better!

Thanks guys. Back is better. Just an fyi if you have back pain. It was my hip flexor muscle and doing a lunge stretch and raising the opposite arm was all I had to do (after a few chiropractor visits). Back to detecting hopefully this weekend!

No thank you WD. Just had Lasik a few years back and that was the best money I ever spent, well with exception of metal detecting equipment of course.

Hope you get that retina attached again.
