    Relics!

Last week I hit an area outside a standing barn (37 lic tag pic), this morning I continued hitting the dirt floor of a standing (barely) blacksmith shop. If you zoom in you can see the forge in the back room. So many nice things have come out of this floor...and they're in RIDICULOUS condition! Iron doesn't rot away and brass/copper looks like it was dropped yesterday. Look at that 1912 dog tag! The three coins were found in a field across the street. Oldest is 1920, although the buff is dateless, surprise! I used to complain about the quantity of crotals I find...not any more! Thanks!

What an interesting place to detect Drew. Plus you are out of the sun, and the finds are well-preserved. That floor looks like tough digging. Is it as hard as it looks?

Oldest coin: 1699 William III halfpenny
Purdiest coin: 1832 Capped Bust quarter
