    A little surf and turf

Here are some of my better finds over the last month or so. This represents 3 beach hunts and a couple park hunts.

When I saw this ring in the scoop I was 100% sure it was a junker. When I got home it just seemed to have the weight and the feel of silver. So I put my loop on it and sure enough I saw "925" very small on the inside. I then took some sand paper to the band and gave it a good rubbing to see if it really was 925 and I did not see any brass coming through. I should probably put some of the silver acid stuff on it...so for now I am 99% it is silver.

I need to figure out how to take pics with my iPhone and have them stay small. I had to crop this one so much just so the site would take it. Anyways the silvers rosies came from the beach along with a couple of the buffs and the 1940 British Penny. The others were found at some park hunts.

Congrats on the finds. That silver ring is quite the chunker! Odd year for water hunting for me too. So far only finding a big pouch of pull tabs and a lone clad quarter.

Way to go Jared! At first glance I would have thought it a junker ring too just give the amount of little diamonds in it. I would take your surf and turf over the real thing any day!!
