    Recent Vacant Lot and Farm Field Finds

    These finds are from the past couple of weeks. I have a few permissions from the same local landowner.

    These were from a vacant lot in town. The owner told me there used to be a house on the lot that was built in 1904.

    These finds were from a nearby farm field. There used to be a house there, it is on the 1939 aerial photos but I'm not sure how old it was. The 1875 Indian Head gave me hope for older finds. I only spent two hours there. I will return.

    Yes, it is a claw foot off of a piece of furniture.

    The back of the Barber Dime is decent.

    Cool digs! I've found plenty of harmonca reeds but never found one of those reed thingies on the left.
    Oldest find: 5,000 year old copper spearhead
    Oldest coin: 1699 William III halfpenny
    Purdiest coin: 1832 Capped Bust quarter
    Coolest find: USA button with blue threads still on shank
