    Great recent park hunts

Below are some pics of a recent fairgrounds hunt where I found a couple Indians, 1898 V and an 1891 Canadian 5 cent silver or fishy.

Also pictured are some finds from this past weekend at my favorite site in my home town in Ohio where I found a very nice 1907 S barber dime which is perhaps a semi key date. I was fortunate to get a nickel trifecta too with a 1912 V, 1936 Buff and a 1942 S War Nik. The skeleton key is iron and therefore rusted pretty bad but I'm happy to find it because skeleton keys are one of my favorite relics...I did hit it with the shovel.

That's a super hunt, Jared! Don't you just love sites where you know there are coins and you just have to concentrate on depth?! I don't remember a Canadian 5 cent ever posted. That buff is sharp!

I have posted about 10 of them the last 5 years or so. Most are Vicky's. A few others have posted a fishy too...we forgive you...they are small and hard to see!

Just giving you a hard time! I should post a pic of all my Canadian coins…living near the border gives me better odds of finding their coins. Actually I am going over in a couple weeks to see some friends so maybe I should bring the detector.
