    Finally, A Copper!

Got out for a few hrs today at a nearby site. Nabbed my 1st copper of the year 17xx KGII as well as an 1882 IH.
Felt good to dig a copper as it's been a long drought. Thought this year was going to be a bust.

Congrats on the copper Roger , looks like a farthing as its a bit on the smaller size 1749 was the most popular year for the "old head" style .

Thanks everyone! It was about 30* and surprisingly the frost layer was probably only a 1/2".

Thanks Dan, it is smaller, about the size of a nickel.
