All of My Best 2022 Finds

2022 was a great year for me. I was able to reach a couple milestones including finding career silver coin #1,000 and career Buff #200 and career War Nik #150.

First are my 3 gold rings. All are 14k (1 white gold).

Relic hunting up north was fantastic in 2022. I have found a couple pcs of trade silver in the past but it was not until this summer that I realized what I had found. These are pretty special to me because I love finding old money and old relics and these are a perfect blend of the two. 200-300 year old silver!...in Michigan!! I also found a few more buttons and indian relics.

Well the cold winter looks like it might set back in for awhile around here. I have been able to do a little detecting here but that might end for at least a few weeks.

I did sell one of my EQ800's and I did purchase a Manticore...might not receive it for a month though. I have high hopes for it so we will see.

Thanks for looking and commenting on my posts throughout the year...it is always encouraging!

WOW, what an array of great finds. I had one year where I found a lot of nickels (Buffalos and war nickels). It just seems certain parks or places have a high volume of specific coins. That was a great lot of relics and buttons as well. Good Luck in 2023. WD

That's one heck of a year! Your silver count alone is probably more than even my clad for the year, not to mention all the great relics. Hope the luck holds for the next year and beyond! Also keep us posted on the new machine on how it performs. Would love to know how it compares to the CTX and NOX as I'm still torn between selling the CTX and going with the Manticore or staying with the reliable workhorse.

That's some year, Jared! Just amazing...your war nickel totals are off the charts. I'd be shocked if someone has found more. I average one war nickel every four years not kidding tho. Plus a museum of relics...huge congrats!!!

So many wonderful finds, Jared! That was an amazing year for sure. Gold rings, a huge pile of silver coins, and some wonderful Native American relics. We just don't find trade silver or those tinkling cones here in Illinois.
