    That's crazy! I can't imagine how many bombs are left out there in homes, lots, and open fields just waiting to trigger. Same goes for so many other military actions that left countless land mines in the field waiting for a stray cow or playing child to stumble on it.

    As soon as I realize it is an UXO, I just cover it back up and walk away slowly. The really big bombs are burrowed in so deep; the detector doesn't even know it is there.
