    Copper & Silver

Took yesterday off & hit a few sites. Was pretty warm out & managed to get a sunburn on the back of my neck.

Nabbed my 1st copper of the year 1853 & tied for last year, so need to get a few more by the end of the year. Also nabbed 2 flat buttons as well as the cool Silver Thimble. At another site nabbed the small buckle.

The ball button as well as the others on that pic were from other hunts.

Thanks Drew! The air is so dry without the humidity, you can see why the Red Flag warnings are up.

Really nice finds, and that largie must have been brand new from the mint when it was dropped! Too bad that thimble is cracked, but still really nice.

Yeah, the weather finally got warm here in Wisconsin yesterday. Really have to find the time to get out soon between work, spring chores, and working on the car.
