    a day out with my friend Joe

    I posted this in the wrong place just now , joe and i got out yesterday and today, yesterday he got 2 mercs and i got a rosie , today i got 2 mercs and joe got a rosie also 27 dimes and 8 quarters

    very nice Dave thumbsup01 , thats pretty strange ( in a cool way though ) that you and Joe got the opposite of what the other found the next day .

    Congrats Dave on the Mercs!!

    I had to chuckle when I glanced over and saw you on the ground digging a target right in the middle of the dime burial grounds.... thought to myself, You might as well stay on the ground, because there are a LOT more dimes in the spot.

    I found out from a town resident that particular spot was used for the 'Dime toss' during the church festivals.... if only they were silver.

    Good times today and I'm glad you got some more silver for your pile.

    On the V-3 dimes ring out the clearest sound of all, at least to me.

    You two did do a lot of digging lol Even finding that clad is fun. I hate going for hours without a decent signal. You guys didn't have that problem. Nice silver dimes and congrats on all that clad too!! Man them clad quarters ring up nice Just like silver.
