    A naturalized Arkie new to American Detectorist forum.

    Stumbled across American Detectorist recently. Looks like a very well ran forum. I'm always amazed with the great finds ya'll find and want to thank you for sharing with the world.

I was told when we moved here 7 years ago that we were officially ArkLaTexicans because back in the day no-one knew were Arkansas Territory, Louisiana and Mexican owned Texas began or ended. I really like your suggestion of ARKIEOLIGIST. But to be totally honest. I'll always consider myself to be a Hoosier.

    Thank you Tana. This forum is rapidly becoming my favorite. BTW. My grandfather's family is from the Carlisle, KY area. Lots of historical events took place in that area.

    I like that area, pretty close to me- I worked there a few yrs, leading 4-H school programs & summer camps there near Carlisle.
