    Whites Bullseye II test

A video test on the Whites pinpointer.
There was too much background noise( my dog barking at the neighbors cat outside) and couldn't hear the pinpointer... I added some music....

But watching closely to where the coin is, should tell you what is needed. I was shocked at the results...thought at the price this one sells for, should be a bit better.

Nice video. I gave up on that pinpointer a while back. I need more than 1/2- 3/4 inches on a pinpointer. But for someone who has the time to dig, it may work for them. I dig like a madman (neatly though), so I need to get more than that depth in order to keep things moving along I'm also sticking with the X-1 probe, until someone comes along with something better.

I got one as part of a promotion package...was not overly impressed. I picked up a DX-1 and now my Bullseye is a toy for my kids who love finding metal around the house.

Would I be out of line for calling that pointer a hunk of crap. Cost $120.00 if you order one. Hope the switch don't break.

Now, Now, if that is all someone has it will be better than using nothing.... and during the half off sale at Christmas it put the value a little closer to the value....

    lol lol lol

I'll stick with my DX-1...tough to beat....

I shot mine a long time ago.

I still using my old BH I got a few years ago it's about half the price but still to high I think but it is better than nothing.
I think the whites is a little pricey for what it does my next pp will be the garretts pro pointer from all the reviews I've seen it's the best handheld pp by far.

    Hi Robby,
I use the 120 but I put mine on vibrate
    when I encounter noise.
Do you know what depth the dx-1 gets
    compared to the Bullseye?
I could tell what depth you were getting on
your test by where you stopped.....I did enjoy the
    music.
Thank You for posting your video.

    Re: Whites Bullseye II test

As explained by White's, the Bullseye II pinpointer is just that - a pinpointer. Depth is maybe an inch. It only responds when you are really close to the target. I like a pinpointer that will give at least 4 inches. Can't beat the Sunray DX-1 as it is an extension of the metal detector itself complete with VDI readings.
