Thread: A hard day of dirt fishing.

A hard day of dirt fishing.

It was a beautiful day today in south central Oklahoma. I hit one of my favorite parks today. All day! This is a park that has yielded plenty of good finds for me, but the finds are beginning to get thin. I must have dug a gazillion holes today chasing anything that resembled a keeper. I ended up with one Merc, four wheaties, four Oklahoma tax tokens, and one Canadian cent that lost the fight to a mower.

    Thanks for looking.

You did quite well with the tokens, and a nice silver too. I would say all that digging paid off.

Nice tokens and a very nice Mercury. I'd still call that a very good day. Do that once a week and it would add up to a pretty good silver count for the year. Sometimes it's not about quantity but quality.

Yep, about $2 in quarters, dimes, and non-zinc memorials.
