    Black Friday silver

On the way to dinner with the family yesterday, I noticed a row of houses alongside the road had recently been bulldozed. They only date to the 50s, but I decided I'd rather be there than doin' the mall crawl today. Got in about an hour hunt and got one silver and a couple of clads.

Hey, Randy I love demolition sites! They take away a lot of the surface junk and expose coins that were masked or deeper. Great that you found silver. Better yet you didn't have to suffer through shopping lol

No, haven't given up, just seems the pond has run dry for now. Did pull one the other day, but it was so worn I didn't bother posting. It was the strangest thing -- a copper the exact size of a nickel. Not sure what it was, but I assume a farthing of some sort in a previous life.
