    1870's school site

Well I couldn't stand it any more. I took the E-Trac out to a 1870's school site were I found a shield nickle late last year. The ground is frozen solid so I took along a long handled spade and went after it....
    Thanks for lookin' & HH

Nice little hunt there, and man I got the itch now! The ground is rock hard up here too and a couple inches of snow on the ground, bring on the warm weather!

Nice finds Tim, I can't believe your still getting out. I would need a jack hammer to dig around here and that is after I shovel the snow first. Think spring!!! Jeff

rofl lol I should've film me digging these holes ! lol
I gotta tell you though, I used to hand dig holes for a living. I've dug holes big enough to bury a full size, king cab Chevy pick up truck, buy hand, year round. I gotta get some pictures scanned. So digging in this tilled ground only 8 inches or so wasn't so bad. But I was just getting over a cold and now I'm feeling kinda again now. Oh well ,we got snow again now.
