The Packers won? Odd, they're usually good at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Actually, I haven't paid much attention to football in years. Too busy with other things.

I always told people us Bubbas were everywhere When I was there there were some areas the owner didn't want me digging because he put a bunch into landscaping but that might change now that he's seen I left no trace of digging at all. I was REAL careful there.

Hey Fire Fighter, I'm about 100 miles north of you, just north of Appleton.

Man.... that's a beauty. I can't even imagine how great it would be to see a big silver edge like that at the bottom of the hole.

Congrats on being accepted into the Morgan club. So far... my application has been stamped DENIED. crying01

JK, I have 2 Morgans and a Peace dollar, found at the same place, a house my Grandfather once owned, where he lived during the Depression. See if there are any Depression era places, even if the houses have been rebuilt, then, after getting permission, look over the lot and see if you can spot where the garden might have been, or a garage or the original back door. Those are the places you're likely to find some good stuff.

    Howdy Bubba!
I haven't been out here in Colorado since getting home from Texas, but the weather is excellent and I hope to do a little hunting today myself. You could come out this way and enjoy some hunting because our ground ain't all that tough yet. Think you'd enjoy it.

That AT Pro should prove an outstanding machine, and I'll be interested in seeing your results.

Welcome to the forum, and hope you find it enjoyable.

    Blessings,

Mel, I can tell you that even with only about a hour on the AT I'm cautiously optimistic. I checked a couple places and got some solid good hits below the ice layer, 8 to 10 inches deep. I noted down the locations and will go back after the thaw and check again. I also hit a playground with it, turned the sensativity way down and pulled almost 2 bucks in change, a charm and a zipper pull out of the snow. A Tesoro Vaquero is next on the list for my arsenal. That'll let me and 2 of my sons go out hunting together and give me toys to play with.
