After watching the videos, looks like I'm curious enough to have to try it out.

Interesting little machine. It has some nice features in it and for the price would make a great beginning machine as well as a a intermediate machine. For the advanced machine, some of those iron tests would have to prove themselves in the field. I wouldn't mind testing one (anyone at Garrett listening lol) out at a cellar hole to see the open screen iron/coin scenario. It seems like a good machine for the money and would be welcomed in the rain and in beach waters. I'd buy one just for the iron features if it could pull some items from the iron I hunt in. We'll have to wait and see.

I thought it would be a nice detector to take down to the river, and local old lakes and use in the swimming holes. Not a bad price for a fresh water detector.

Looks like a great machine. But, do you have to swing the coil at super speed, like his hand waving over the coil in the video?

Saw the video on where it can tell a bottle cap by the sound. Our park areas are loaded with bottle caps. If any one has the AT Pro--does it have that sound on aluminum caps as well as the old rusted tin type caps

Here is a recovery test on an AT Pro. No you don't have to swing the detector that fast. But this shows that the detector will still sound off on every target under the coil, no matter how fast you swing the coil and with no lag time. How many other detectors can match this recovery speed

We all know we don't swing the coil that fast, but it is great for a detector to HIT every target and let us know there is something there, so we can slow down even more, and zero in the them individually to figure out the good from the bad signals.

Nice recovery speed Recovery speed is hugely important these days. If it can handle EMI and mineralization, they will have a winner for sure. I hear it has a nice coil design a bit different from other DD coils too.

Looks very interesting, will have to keep an eye on it to see its results.
