    swing speed for the Etrac

This is a rookie question at best but I thought I would throw the question out there

I would like to know what speed the ETRACERS swing their coil at I think this comes with experience.

I know with music that timing is a huge factor I really it is much the same with the 28 freq. the Etrac is throwing out there.
Thanks for the responses in advance

    Thanks Steve

That really depends on the location. If the ground is really clean, you can hunt with a 1 - 2 second sweep (time for one direction, not a full lap). When you have normal amounts of trash you should slwo down to a 2 - 3 second sweep. REALLY trashy sites ... pretend your coil is a turtle.

The e-Trac's strength is that it will respond to a target with almost no movement of the coil

Jason is right but when you swing it fast be sure to recheck any possible good tone -a bad tone sound going fast will sometimes sound good at a slower speed thumbsup01
