    1st silver of 2011...and it's a big one !!

The temperatures climbed into the 50's today and it's making the snow slowly recede I only had a bout 2 hours to hunt. So I went for it !
I found 14 cents in clad a little brass buckle, Matchbox car, and a cheep bracelet. After just digging the Matchbox car, in the same 3x3 area, I dug a pull tab. I stood up, checked the area, got another good reading jumping around from 79 (penny/dime) to 82 (dime) to 85 (quarter) to 92 (silver dollar) to 88 (half dollar) back to 82, 92 and so on. I figured for sure it was going to be another Matchbox car sense I just dug one not 3 feet away . I dug the hole, flipped over the chunk of frost and the PP said it was in the chunk frost. So I broke the chunk open and seen that oh so beautiful site of reeded silver edge. It was super muddy so I didn't take many pictures or film much of the hunt. But I filmed the important part lol

    :bangshead02: I missed this post.

Love that Kennedy half! I've found several clad ones, but never a silver one. That's a heck of a way to start the year with silver.
It was cool seeing that one come out of the clump.
    Well done Tim.
