    Beach Barber Half

Not real pretty, but it's all mine!! 8)
Found this 1899 Barber Half in that sand pile that I posted about awhile back that came out from under our 100 year old plus boardwalk amusement park. They finally started pushing some of the sand around today, so I hit it for a bit and plan to go back in the morning!

Not too bad looking. It kinda has a good even color to it. I'd take it any day What an opportunity you have there. Keep at that place. I'm drooling thinking about it Think of the poor sap who lost that coin. That was one chunk of change in them days

    Re: Beach Barber Half

Other than a silver quarter I found at my old High School and a War Nickel, my limited silver coin finds so far have come from this beach site due to the Haunted House tear down anD remodel. Been a fun ride!! I think it is pretty picked over now, but you never know!!
