    1266 X

Just wondered if anyone out there still uses a 1266 ? I do, been using it for about 16 years now, my main machine. Can't imagine digging more than I am. Steve in so az

No, but my main (and only) machine from 1987-1999 was a Fisher 1260-X and I absolutely loved that machine! Back in the early 1980s I had a White's 5000-D and my hunting buddy had a Fisher 1260-X. Although we both had quite a bit of experience, he was finding a lot more than I was! He ended up selling me his Fisher 1260-X so he could buy a 1265-X. Using the Fisher machine I immediately started finding many more old coins than I did with the White's.

I love my E-Trac but I sure do miss that old Fisher 1260-X. I had many, many successful hunts with it.
    Lifetime totals:

I had that 5000D when it first came out. That was the worst machine ever lol That is the price we paid for the introduction of this new feature called discrimination My old coin count was almost non existent, but my clad count jumped quite a bit (minus nickels). rofl
