    Your Dream Detector

Curious what you would want in a detector if you could design it....?

    Re: Your Dream Detector

I have 4 detectors, and each one is great. There is one feature that is missing on all four detectors. That feature would make silver and gold jump out of the ground. rofl

Wateproof like the Garrett AT Pro, lightweight like the Fisher F-series, adjustable ground balance, frequency adjustment, notch in or out all segments of discrimination areas like the AT Pro, option of 4 tones ,3 tones or 2 tones, standard mode and pro mode like the AT Pro.......completely sealed waterproof 1/4 inch headphone jack.............

That would be a good start..........

    Re: Your Dream Detector

Know I will be in the minority here, but after all these years I just want an extremely lightweight detector with All Metal/Disc (with mode switch), GB and cordless headphones. Don't need a meter. Should look like the Troy X3, and have adjustable cuff to make sure the balance is perfect.

Would love to try the Deus. My friends overseas say it's absolutely the best. Just too expensive for me.

Guess I am regressing in my old age.

    Re: Your Dream Detector

A detector that completely ignores iron , is not masked by or sees through it like the ground to locate targets underneath. yeah right lol lol

ok i would take a real fully discriminating , tone id'ing pulse induction machine with depth read-out pinpointing capabilities .

    Re: Your Dream Detector

A feature that I would love to see on a detector: The ability to discriminate signals by depth. For example, discriminate out all signals less than 4 deep.
