    Sidewalk Hunting

I was interested in the stories about how you detect along the town sidewalks. Are you guys doing this in front of peoples homes? If so. Do you have to get permission at every door? Or is this kind of nomans land? Sounds like a great place to hunt. But would be a little leery about digging out front of someones home.

I know in my town, that little strip of land is called the tree belt. The town owns it but the homeowner maintains it. I would say that it is best to ask permission, who knows you might even get permission to hunt their property.
