2011 fav photos taken while detecting

From the land of the Bluenose.....here are my favourite 12 photos taken in 2011 while detecting in no particular order. Enjoy.

On my yearly Uk jaunt Richard shows me his pets before we head to a Roman site.

Skeggness by the sea had gone to the birds!

Detecting the ragged Nova Scotia coastline where the Tribute sank!

Toxic mutant sea life mural on a school house where Navy Davy and I had spent many a pleasant day swinging!

&quotriving Miss Marie to Peggy's Cove made for a good excuse to hit a few tot lots on the way.

Detecting around the Frog Pond Trail.

After a dig with Navy Davy and Slickpick Rick &quotruce turns the other check looking for a butt rub!

A group shot when I visited the bouys from the Maine Metal Detecting Forum.

On a trip with Navy Davy we stopped to get a Tim's before our dig and were given the eye by this creature!

Marie caught me at a weak moment after digging in Peurto Plata. El Presidenta Beer had taken hold!

Digging Sosua beach. Our first encounter taking local transportation. Never shared a ride with chickens before.

Digging as the tropical sun goes down.

From the land of the Bluenose.....life is a beach at least till the tide comes in and the Bud is all gone. Swish and dig at the drop of a dime!

Great pics Yeah that last one is really nice. Thanks for sharing! Did you find many interesting items where the Tribute sank or around the frog pond trail? Perhaps I saw threads on these areas and don't remember. I always enjoy your wild-n-crazy posts thumbsup01

Very nice photos, sometimes you have to stop swinging and just enjoy the scenery. I love the ring necklace.
