    A T2 tip

    Here's a cheap way to protect the battery box , off/on switch/stand assembly from getting dirty or scratched up in fair weather .......... take an old sock and put a hole in it so you can plug your phones in . After a few times you will get used to turning the off/on/volume switch without having to partially roll down the sock .

    That is a good idea. You might try all so putting some water prof tape on the bottom of the sock Just a idea??
