    Unearthed a piece of silver this morning.

    Went out in the backyard for about 45 minutes this morning for a little practice before the rain started and found this little cutie when I cleaned it of I noticed I had hit it with my digger, bummer. crying01

    Must be a nice little back yard you got there, if you're gettin Barbers Nice find!! We won't tell anybody about your digging technique Been there.... just this year when I scratched an 1894 Barber quarter How come we always gouge the date side Hope you get a couple more when the rain stops

    I live in the oldest house in Northport, Maine. (1779) on 41 acres. Just a Wee Butt and Ben.

    Nice find! Bummer on the scratch.

    I think you have the dream property. Most of us are just itching to get access to property that old.

    That's a nice old barber. Yeah, I have gouged a few coins throughout the years too. It sure hurts.

    Yea, a Barber, one my my favorite type coins.. You have a very nice hunk of property to hunt at. Hopefully you find more..

    Nice Barber Charlie and with that 41 acres you got your own little private detecting area that will keep you busy for quite a while. I know there are more goodies there and can;t wait to see what else you find as you cover more ground there!!!
