    Hello From Minnesota

    New to the forum, saying hello from minnesota. Looking forward to enjoying this new hobby. Any help, tips are always welcome.

    With some patience, perserverance and just a little luck you should enjoy this hobby immensely! Do you have a metal detector yet? If so, what kind?

    Yes I do have a detector, a Garrett Ace 250. I've found mostly clad so far and an older toy plane. Planning to go out tonight to a local woods.

    hello and welcome MNJung , were always glad to see someone new entering the hobby as the level of enthusiasm is fun to share in. the Ace is a great entry machine and i'm sure you'll have it mastered in no time , i wish you the best and please feel free to ask a lot of questions .

    This is a great hobby. There is plenty of help available. Just ask, and someone on the forum will likely know the answer(s).
    I've traveled a long way, and many of the roads weren't paved.

    Hi from another MN with the ACE 250. I'm also west but not as far. There are some good old spots along the MN River to check out.

    Not sure how far west you are but I live in Chaska MN, I've walked the woods by the MN river in chaska but no luck. Maybe I wasnt in the right area
