I am very new to this hobby but am very very interested in getting to love this hobby.. I live in Logan County Ohio and want to find out what the best equipment would be to use... Have several areas of old turn of the century homesteads / small railroad communities that have been deserted that i would love to dig over....

I'm in Butler County Ohio. I detect in Hamilton County (Cincinnati area) only because I have my permits there. I'm down with hitting up new areas but I gotta make sure I'm legally allowed. I've got three years experience digging pull tabs, so I may have some tips to offer... But I work 3rd shift. So getting together may prove difficult.
If its old or gold, I'm down, Ya dig?
