I've been hunting a few parks this weekend and have done very well (other post in Relics section). This morning my luck continued with a 1902 Barber half, 1839 seated dime, and three wheats. Thanks for looking!

Amazing that you were able to find a Barber Half in a public park! Did it give a loud, clear signal? I guess it was waiting for you, Drew!
And what about that 1839 Seated Dime?! Spectacular! Only the third year for the Seated Liberty design. Those early ones are not easy to find. The reverse is worn but the obverse is nice. What a great find! WONDERFUL!
You are on fire lately! Keep it up!

I thought the half was a deep copper, then I went down pretty far but didnt hear anything on my pin pointer. I actually gave up, thinking it was a deep can or iron, as I moved my pin pointer to take it out of the hole it gave a slight beep. I dug a bit deeper and there it was. I thought the dime might be a clad quarter..it was about 7 inches down. Thanks, Tony!

WTG Drew! That seated is beautiful. All this rain has definately helped find those deeper targets.

Way to sniff out those keepers Drew. My last 4 silver coins were from a small park. No park is ever hunted out. That Barber half proves that. Good work!
Old silvers are the best. Congrats on the 1839 seated, is that your earliest seated dime? All those keepers coming from a park only proves nothing is ever hunted out. Huge congrats on the finds....

Fantastic job Drew - and in a park nonetheless! I continue to be amazed on how good some of these parks produce. Up here, the parks are just completely pounded.
